Location

Gilsland Spa Hotel is near the village of Gilsland, 18 miles to the east of Carlisle and 18 miles to the west of Hexham.

At 700ft above sea level, the hotel commands spectacular views over the Cumbrian countryside. To the east of the Hotel are the heights of South Tynedale with the Pennines to the south. To the south west are the mountains of Cumbria and the Lake District and to the north are the rugged moors.

Gilsland is approached using the A69 Carlisle to Newcastle Upon Tyne road.

Leave the A69 following signs for the village of Gilsland. Continue through the village following signs for Gilsland Spa. The Hotel is just 1 mile from the village.

By Train

The nearest station is Haltwhistle (7 miles) and taxis are available for the final leg of your journey.
